Monty's Birthday

Yesterday we celebrated Monty's Birthday all day long. He started it off giving me a present-I got to sleep in while he got up with the kids! How awesome is that! Then onto gifts, we just got him a card and some steaks to cook, what else do ya need?

Makynzi has never been to the movie theater (and obviously Jaxon either) so since it was his bday and he's been wanting to take her we did! We went and saw UP it was so cute and funny! I think it's the only kids movie I have seen Monty actually like! Of course it was forever long so Makynzi was wanting to leave by the time it was over. She was such a big girl though! Except for sitting in her seat. She thought it was going to eat her the way it folded UP on her...so she spend most of the movie in our laps.

Afterward we had lunch at Fazoli's I dont know what is up with that place, it used to be right up there with Olive Garden in my book....not anymore! It's just not what it used to be. I couldn't even finish my meal it was that not good.

But for the funnest part of the day! The Astros game! Super fun with awesome friends! Mandie hooked us up with some tickets and Kim, Mike and Grayson headed to meet us at the ballpark! The kids played the entire game and FINALLY Monty got his ball-well Makynzi's ball b/c he told her it's for her and now she's begging for it! But either way he got it, not by catching a foul but one of the guys gave it to him-how's that for sportsmanship!

By the time we got home it was 11 and we were beat! But didn't get to get some sleep, both kids were overly tired and with Jaxon gassy we were up walking around for about an hr! Then Makynzi fell off the bed-again! And so we had a full bed by morning.
