Happy NEW YEAR!!!

Happy New Year! We can officialy say it now that we are all home and have Ella home. We have talked to our family and friends and they made it through the madness of the holidays and now it's time to take the tree down and relax until Jaxon's birthday next month!

New Year's eve we spent with Ronnie and Mandie at Lindsey's dad's house in Hempstead. The plan was to spend the night but God had other plans for us. We don't know why and it's hard not to question but as you know Ella got so scared of the fireworks she climbed right over our 8 foot fence and was found New Year's afternoon about 4 miles from the house! Whew that was a long day let me tell you!

But on another good note...it was Jaxon's 1st New Year's Eve celebration and he had a ball! He managed to stay up past midnight -like Makynzi always does! Here is a recap of our night
First we had dinner in town at Las Fuentas (pretty sure it was called, can't miss it, the only Mexican restaurant at the light in Hempstead) Not bad...not too good either...

Here's a pic our little photographer took of us. She's into self portraits.
Then we went back to Lindsey's dad's ranch for the night:
Mommy's lil man
Makynzi was off playing w/ Uncle Ronnie and didn't want to break for pictures
Jaxon and Daddy

Jaxon loving his Aunt Mandie
Relax it's only water in her glass, she's like her mommy and wants her water "fancy"

She carried the glass around all night, we even had to bring one home for her to drink out of
He had to have some since his sissy did.

Playing w/ the new bear her Daddy won her in the machine

Some quick bedtime snuggles
He crashed right out!
But here comes Sissy
She forgot to hug him good night
And then was saying "I'm so sorry Jaxon" after she woke him up...at least he was happy!

The next day we had lunch at mom and Neal's and but had to leave early to pick up Ella b/c she was found!
We picked her up and took her w/ us to the Schattle's for dinner and so she could play with Harley for a little bit.

She was so happy to finally be home. And so tired she ate and slept all day and night.

The kids were excited to see her too
