Slidin and fishin

We've been so busy having fun lately I haven't had a chance to get on and up date. After Bubba left last weekend we went and had lunch w/ friends and the kids got to play on the Slip N Slide while the daddy's (aka Monty and Jess) went fishing. On the way over to their house we stopped so Makynzi and Monty could let Abby the turtle out to play ... and never come back...

This past weekend we headed up to the lakehouse for our first of many lake weekends this year. We are all so excited it's getting to be such pretty weather to go play on the water!

Check out all our babies on the way up to the lake. We are so suburbanized aren't we LOL




Makynzi loves to go fishing w/ her Daddy. We went for a drive through the National Forest and walked to a little lake.

And of course one w/ the Boys on the way back. How cute are they!?!

This plant was everywhere out there. I was so paranoid warning everyone not to touch it thinking it was some sort of poison ivy or oak or something...anyone know?


Fishing on the big lake...until I heard a noise I am still convinced was an alligator and we tucked tail and got outta there!

Another use for the Little Lasso. I attached it to me and Jaxon so he couldn't wander down by the water! Worked well...just threw his shoe in the water instead but luckily it floats!

A picture actually not fishing! Jaxon loves the tractors!Back on the pier again. Jaxon kept tossin the orange in the water so Makynzi could fish it out for him! I don't know which one of them enjoyed the game more!
