Note: I found this in my draft folder...oops meant to post weeks (9/25/10) ago LOL so here's Cheer!!!

We officially are cheer parents! Can you believe Makynzi is already a cheer leader? Gotta start them early right! I even asked about Jaxon playing football and they said he could start at 3!!! Gotta LOVE Texas and our love for football! Where else can you start a kid that young LOL

Makynzi's first practice was a hoot! I mean I love that she's cheering but hate the league we put her on! Price isn't always everything apparently! It's the most affordable place for cheer her age and one of the only places that lets them cheer at games BUT...you knew that was coming right....they are so Unorganized! I am a very "need a schedule" kinda person and I expect to receive the service I was told I would. Not hard to believe right! But i9sports is VERY unorganized! We didn't receive the emails and calls from the coach like we were told we would nor did the team Makynzi's on even get to cheer at the football game like they were told they would. We were told 1 hour practice and 1 hour game EVERY Saturday for 8 weeks. Well then it's 1/2 hour practice and 1 hour games for 8 weeks. AND NOW it's 1/2 hour practice for 2-3 weeks (no game) and then 1/2 hour practice and 1 hour game the rest of the weeks! What's up with that? Monty and I had a long talk with the director-who is in under his head for sure! He even told us that they expected 200 kids and 480 showed up! Um....tell them the cut off was at registration like we were all told and turn them away! How hard could that be!

Needless to say I'm extremely frustrated with this whole ordeal. We were told that he would meet our expectations at the next practice or we could work something out about a refund!


Enough of that! I just hope it's made right. In the meantime...check out our cheerleader~

Cheer is going good now other than the fact that the cheer coach seems to think these 3-5 year olds should know a million cheers...ok not a million but 27! Really!??!! They are mostly 4 years olds! I couldn't learn that many and you want them too in 8 weeks! Makynzi's loving it so she's still going weekly but gets overwhelmed when they have this coach. When her regular coach, Coach Rachel, is there the girls do awesome!
