It is in our house at least. We have really put it of this year going back and forth about whether or not we would do a pumpkin. I mean do we really need to spend 5 bucks on a pumpkin that is going to rot and be smelly in a couple of days when we could go to Chick Fil A instead?
Well of course we do!
So. Monty came home and surprised the kiddos with a big ole pumpkin the day we were all sick! This was about the only thing that brought smiles to their faces all day. And even seeing it, Makynzi asked if we could do it "tomorrow" instead since she was feeling so bad.
So tomorrow was yesterday and it started out as a big ole family affair and by the time the carving came it was just me and Monty while the kids played in their sandbox...aka back of the flowerbed...in the front yard.
But Makynzi did pick the picture of the kitty like she does just about every year we have made one so no suprise there. The biggest laugh of the whole pumpkin process was at Jaxon. Well I won't tell you about it, I'll show y'all the video instead!

And then he "helped" Jaxon do it, which I have on a video that refuses to load no matter how long I try! It's been uploading all day and still I get an error message. If I ever figure it out. I'll let ya know :)
