When we went to the dr the other day everything went well and we didn't even have to get Baby Jax any shots! That always makes for an easier visit!
He weighed in at 28 lbs and was 34.5'' tall! Pretty awesome considering when you double that he will be 5"9 when he grows up. So at least he won't be a shortie like his mama! Although that isn't exactly Football size....
But.....our doctor did refer us over to an Ear Nose and Throat doctor (the same one that clipped his tongue when he was a baby and tongue tied). We had our visit today and on Tuesday Baby Jax will have his tonsils and adnoids removed. Just the thought of surgery is scary but I know he will be feeling much better afterward.
This surgery will help with his breathing issues, will help him sleep better and it will help him not be so sick. Not to mention I won't have to constantly be waiting for him to take another breath when he is sleeping. He holds his breath when he is sleeping and it just scares me to death. Also, apparently his spitting out chicken every time we eat it isn't because he doesn't like it but because he is having a hard time swallowing food. Our ENT said that his tonsils are so big that they are almost touching.
