Princess Poses and Snotty Noses: Backyard Camping

Makynzi is working on getting some patches for Girl Scouts and one that she can get is the Backyard Camping patch. She has been wanting to go camping in the backyard for over a year now but it's either too hot, too cold or rainy. No matter what something has come up. Until last night. Even though it was so stinkin cold we had a backyard campout so that she could get her patch. We did smores on the bbq pit and all four of us....five if you count Ella. Set up camp on the trampoline "Jumpoline" as Jaxon calls it. It was so so so cold! We had 4 pillows, 2 blankets on the bottom, two sleeping bags, and 3 more blankets before the night was over with. Plus we ended up putting Ella in the house since the other barking dogs in the neighborhood were making her jump off the Trampoline and wake us up w/ her barking. This would have been her first night outdoors too. She's like us, she doesn't like the dark or the cold.
