Happy "month long" birthday?

Yes, you heard that right! It's February so in our house that means it's Jaxon's birthday. Yes, I do realize that his birthday is a few weeks away (Evites went out today btw :) But when Makynzi learned at school yesterday that it's February she came home and told Jaxon it's his birthday month and he's already begun singing himself Happy Birthday! So sure...why not! He's only 2 for a couple more weeks so we are celebrating all month long! And already prepared to do the same for Makynzi when July comes. Wonder if I can get away with it in May? ;) 

Today we took him to story time where he had a blast as usual but being in the birthday mood we were sure to let him know that this is almost his last time in this storytime b/c he's moving up to the preschool one! WoW! Preschool storytime! That's a really big deal! Pretty soon we'll be sending him to actual preschool and then Kinder! I'm pretty sure I'm not ready for that! It took a LOT of going back and forth for us to decide that we aren't going to put him in 3 year old school but wait for the 4 year like we did with Makynzi.  

Anyways back to his birthday! He made a cock-a-doodle-doo hat at story time and then sported his "birthday crown" from Burger King while eating his free kids meal we received a coupon for yesterday for his birthday! So Happy Birthday Month to our not so baby boy!
