OMG I just realized I haven't updated y'all in a month! Jaxon is now 8 months old...only 4 more months until my Little Man's 1st birthday party! I guess I should start planning it before it sneaks up on us with all the holidays coming up.
We are getting ready for Halloween over here already. Last weekend we went to the Pumpkin Patch so Makynzi could pick out a pumpkin and we will carve it this weekend.
I sure hope she picks something easier than the cat she picked last year. That wasn't as easy as we thought it would be. Here is a trip down memory lane from last year:

And here is the final product after all the hard work!We have so much going on lately! I joined the local MOPS group at the church and love it! I have made such great friends already and Makynzi looks forward to going and making crafts and singing songs w/ her MOPPET friends. We have also started going to church on Sunday and not only do I like it but Monty does too! Who would have thought we would ever find one that we both agree with and enjoy. Makynzi wakes up asking just about daily if she can go to church! How awesome is that! Jaxon on the other hand doesn't love it as much as his sissy does. He hates when I leave the room and then finally settles down until they wanna change his diaper. This boy hates to lay still to have a diaper change so I usually do it with him wiggle worming all around.
While we are on the subject of Jaxon, he is getting so big! Yesterday was his 8 month birthday and he had some spinach to celebrate. That boy loves him some spinach he's gonna be big and strong in no time...wait he already is! He's pulling up on everything he can get his hands on and jibber jabbering all the time. Now if I can just get these kids in their own rooms at night we will get some sleep and be great! I'm gonna start on that again tonight...wish me luck! And share any tips you have!
We recently added 2 new members to our family. Ella came first and she is a 5 month old German Shepard. Then Harley came 2 weeks later and she is a 10 month old French Mastiff. They are such sweet girls but boy are they hyper. Guess that comes with the puppy territory.
Anyways...Jaxon is finishing up eating now so time to get up!

Wow girl 2 dogs! Good luck claiming your bed back. I was always worried about having them fall or something and they have always slept so good on their own.
