Quick "bully" update

I talked with Makynzi's teacher this morning and at first she made it sound like Makynzi was just making it up telling me she never saw anyone pull her hair. So my first response was to dig right into her but I took a deep breath and explained to her how I know she can't possibly see everything that goes on and that my daughter wasn't lying. Makynzi even stepped in to tell her "Yes she did pull my hair"

That said, I asked for the girls to be separated as much as possible, knowing it wouldn't be a big difference considering they are in the same classroom but we made it through the day without a phone call home and at pick up Makynzi was semi-smiling.

I even got a note from the director that she had a great day and was only upset after she woke up from her nap. Which is totally understandable because she always gets mad when she falls asleep without intending to thinking she missed something.

Turns out that they moved Makynzi into the 3/4 year old class instead of the 4/5 class that she was in and she LOVED it! I heard that after she was moved into this part of the classroom she was no longer upset and was back to her same old bubbly self.

At first I was a little worried about her not learning as much being with them but I guess it's okay considering the elementary school even told me that it's up to me whether we start Makynzi in Kinder next year or the following with her birthday being in the summer right before school starts.

Either way, as long as Lil Miss Priss is happy and content and learning something and being social then we are fine with her being in that class
