Every year we go to the free train rides at Zube park at least once. From about March til October on the 3rd Saturday
hals.org provides train rides for the public. It's all done by volunteers and donations are accepted but not necessary to ride. Today we went out there and the crowd wasn't as bad as we have seen it at 9 (when it opens) but by the time we left at 10 it was crazy crowded. But we managed to get in and out and Jaxon had a blast checking everything out. Makynzi had a sleepover w/ Nannie last night and spent the day at the park w/ her and Bapaw so he had a day w/ us to himself.

After riding the trains we headed out to the Watermelon Festival hoping to get a good watermelon, we saw some big ones and little ones that were judged but didn't get to eat anything but a taste of some watermelon jelly....watermelon is good and all but that jelly....not so much.
On our way out we spotted something we hadn't seen before. Instead of a plain ole jump house they had Bubble Runners. I have heard of them but never seen them in person and Jaxon wanted to jump right on in and give a go. The lady in the pool mentioned how well he was doing and was so surprised that he was only 3 years old! Me too lady me too! He isn't scared of anything but thunder and the dark...oh and the random shark that bites him in his dreams at night.
